Ashok Soota

Chairman

Ashok Soota

Executive chairman of Happiest Minds. As an entrepreneur, he has had a stellar career — he steered Wipro to its IT giant status, launched and led Mindtree to a successful IPO; he then repeated the feat with Happiest Minds and is now passionately and actively working towards making Happiest Health a success.

In April 2021, Ashok launched SKAN, India’s first private sector-led, non-profit organization exclusively dedicated to carry out medical research on ageing, neurological disorders and gut microbiome-brain axis with a commitment of Rs 3,750 million (USD 50 million, approx.). He also established in 2011 Ashirvadam, a Trust for environmental projects and assistance to the needy.

Ashok holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of Roorkee (now called Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee) and a Master of Business Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.

Ashok is co-author of the national bestseller – “Entrepreneurship Simplified: From Idea to IPO” and has recently co-authored another book, ‘Busted’ which seeks to challenge many management myths and commonly accepted wisdom. His hobbies include trekking, the outdoors, yoga, tai chi, meditation and swimming.

Anindya Chowdhury

Anindya, an engineer with a PGDM degree from IIM Bangalore, has a rich experience of over 28 years across FMCG, Pharma, OTC, Consumer Healthcare, and Diagnostics domains in operational and P&L leadership roles. He began his career with HUL and after leadership stints with Dr Reddy’s, Sanofi, Sun Pharma and SRL, he was the CEO of Aster Labs (India & GCC) in his previous role. Having taken on the mantle of leadership at Happiest Health, Anindya is looking at expanding our service offerings and is also working actively towards realising the five-year vision of Happiest Health, which includes creating a great place to work and building an enterprise with the highest standards of corporate governance. 

He is an avid sports fan, especially soccer and cricket and keeps himself fit with a daily morning brisk walk. Taking up new challenges, spending time with family, and traveling to new places keep him happy.

Chandrasekhar S

A qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in IT and Publishing sectors, Chandra is experienced at establishing new businesses. He has additional qualifications from ICMA and the Institute of Co. Sec. of India. His last assignment was with Macmillan India as Executive Director/Company Secretary. His mantra to keep physically fit and stress-free is playing with his two pet dogs (Coco, a Shih Tzu, and Bosky, a Golden Retriever), visiting his two Indies (Rudy and Mechhi) and reading science fiction and history.

Chief Editor (Digital)

Ravi Joshi

RJ (as friends call him) hung up his journalistic boots after spending 23 years in the newsrooms of stellar publications such as The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, India Today, The New Indian Express and DNA. His most recent assignment was editing Bangalore Mirror and Mumbai Mirror on Sunday. When not thinking of a headline or a story, he can be found whipping up a healthy meal for his family, completing his daily target of 15,000 steps or wondering which superbike he’ll buy someday.

Raghu Krishnan

Raghu Krishnan is a journalist for over 25 years, having covered science, aerospace and technology sectors. He has a keen interest in the intersection of investments in research, science and technology and its impact on society and businesses. Till recently, he was the technology editor for the Economic Times and has worked for organisations such as Business Standard, Mint and the Press Trust of India. Raghu believes in walking regularly, getting a good night’s sleep and is also finding ways to limit usage of digital gadgets.

Ashish Pratap Singh

With nearly two decades of experience in Finance, Editorial and Marketing, Ashish Pratap Singh has worn many hats. He started his career with American Express at their global headquarters in New York with the Global Reengineering & Six Sigma team. From there he followed his passion for writing and switched to print media.

 In the next ten years, he headed global publications like Men’s Health & FHM as their Editor (India). 

Ashish has years of experience in building brand identities that attract attention. His forte lies in conceptualizing and executing end-to-end marketing and communication strategies, lead generation and analytics. 

Ashish is married with a son. He is also a fitness enthusiast with more than 22 years and countless hours spent pursuing fitness.

Meenakshi KC

A People Practice (HR) Professional, Meenakshi is passionate about working with people and caring for their needs. She has been an advisor, counsellor and mentor to bring in performance credibility, visibility and to enhance functional expertise in their sphere of work. 

With many fruitful years of experience in HR and legal, she has always had an impetus to work in challenging environments in companies servicing IT, non-IT and legal. 

What makes her happy is to see a smile on every person’s face whom she has encountered that day. 

Being Mindful always is the key for her daily routine. To hone her skills, she practices Yoga for 5 hours every week, walks 4 km a day and is up to date on health and wellness.

Tina Mitra

Tina Mitra has extensive advertising sales experience in Digital, Print, Radio, and Events.

Tina was previously with Radio City, where she had over 12 years’ experience leading sales across multiple geographies. She has previously worked with Red FM and Times of India.

Tina keeps herself fit by following HIIT for 20 minutes, four days a week, and ensures she walks 10000 steps every day.

Tabriz Ahmed

A seasoned media salesperson who has worked with marquee media brands like The Asian Age, Deccan Chronicle, Hindustan Times, India Today, FHM, Diabetic Living, Reliance ADAG, to name a few. 

His deep focus on humanitarian response to emergencies led him to become closely involved with Mercy Mission during the pandemic. His other passions include child rights. 

Tabriz walks and exercises to keep his body in shape and meditates regularly for the sake of his mind.

Shankar S.

Shankar handles Finance at Happiest Health. He is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and a Company Secretary from ICSI. 

Shankar has over 15 years of enriching work experience in Finance and his previous stint was in Infosys, as Senior Manager, for over 5 years. 

He finds bliss in reading books, connecting with nature, listening to music and spending quality time with family. He regularly practices yoga and meditation for his health, wellness and spiritual wellbeing.
