Shoulder exercises for the workplace

Side shoulder stretches help relieve tightness in the shoulders which sets in after sitting long hours at the work desk. Shoulder rotations take the shoulder joint through the full range of motion and help increase blood flow to the joint. Shoulder shrugs engage the trapezius muscle (neck region and upper back) and relieve stiff shoulders. Orange squeeze activates and strengthens the upper back muscles by engaging the shoulder blades, and helps improve posture. Here are a few simple shoulder stretches you can do at the workplace and their benefits, featuring Nataraj N of Happiest Health. The stretches are done as per expert advice.
