Sunflower seeds for the heart

Just like its oil, the seeds of the sunflower too can be an integral part of your healthy diet. Sunflower seeds are rich in omega-6 fatty acids and MUFAs (monounsaturated fatty acids), which lower inflammation and high cholesterol levels. The presence of vitamins B3 and B5 also helps reduce bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood.
