The risk of cancer in golden retrievers

While cancer is one of the leading causes of mortality in dogs, Golden Retrievers show a high cancer-related mortality rate of around 65 percent. The Golden Retriever Lifetime Study is one of the largest canine health studies in the US launched by the Morris Animal Foundation. Dr Kelly Diehl, Senior Director of Science Communications of the Foundation shares more about it with Happiest Health's senior science writer Ipshita Ghosh over a Zoom Interview.
