My Story | All I wanted was one fresh breath

Maneesha Ramakrishnan is a survivor of the 2010 Carlton Towers (Bengaluru) fire tragedy that killed at least seven and injured 70. Inhaling the poisonous gas left her with no voice. She lives with a tracheostomy tube but that does not stop her from smiling, laughing and calling out to her pets.
